This year, the Annual JFCS Wheels for Meals falls the day after my birthday, so what better way to honor a big day than with raising money for JFCS!
Working at JFCS, I have the privilege of seeing the impact of our services in real time. I have provided bags at our on-site pantry, helped at mobile distributions, volunteered at our Kosher Cafe, and tagged along on a Kosher Meals on Wheels delivery.
The depth of gratitude from the people we feed cannot be overstated. Each bag of groceries, each meal, is a lifeline to those we serve. JFCS is reaching record-breaking levels of service, a record we do not want to see, but one we feel obligated to match in pace.
