K9s For Warriors

Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors is the nation’s leading provider of trained Service Dogs to Veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. The organization is committed to saving lives at both ends of the leash.

4-4-48 Challenge November 7th-9th

A few months ago, I was driving in my car and saw a K9's for Warriors company car in front of me. I wanted to learn more, so as soon as I got home, I checked out their website and knew immediately I wanted to help. 

I regularly compete in marathons and ultra races, so I thought to myself--why not start my own race and raise money for a really good cause? Well, that's exactly what I am going to do. 

Starting on November 7th at 4AM, I will run four miles, every four hours, for the next forty eight hours. I am excited for the challenge and the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our Veterans.
