Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs being rescues, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
2026 Hoka Hey Challenge Fundraiser
I'm Curtis Anselmo and I've loved motorcycle travel for many years now. In early 2025 I was accepted as participant #1261 into the 2026 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge. To me, there is no motorcycle challenge more rigorous or grueling than the Hoka Hey. Participants must successfully follow paper maps given to them on a checkpoint basis across the country on a route potentially exceeding ten thousand miles. In addition to following the entirity of the route exactly as tracked by event coordinators via electronic locater, riders must sleep outside with their bike and not receive any moving violations to be considered a finisher. To give this incredible challenge/opportunity real value I have chosen to raise funds/support for K9's for Warriors in my quest. As a veteran of the United States Air Force and someone who has had their own battles with mental health, K9's for Warriors is a cause I truly believe in. Any help or funds that you have to give to support me this great cause would be greatly appeciated.
