What started six years ago as a small gathering created by Marius, his kids, and a few neighbors has grown into something much bigger. What began as a simple way to bring people together and support a meaningful cause has evolved into a widely supported annual tradition that reaches far beyond the neighborhood.
Today, the 5K USA – 4th of July Walk, Bike, and Run brings together participants from across the community and surrounding areas, all united by a shared purpose: to celebrate Independence Day while giving back to those who have served our country.
From the very first year, this event has proudly supported K9s For Warriors, helping provide highly trained service dogs to veterans in need. With each year, the impact has grown, turning a small local idea into a cause-driven event that continues to make a real difference.
Now in its 6th year, we invite you to start your Independence Day off right with a morning dedicated to community, patriotism, and purpose.

Kickoff starts at 7:30 AM
All ages are welcome. Walk, run, or bike the 3.1-mile route (no electric rides).
After the race, stay for refreshments, ice popsicles, patriotic music, and time to connect with others who share a passion for giving back.
