On Friday, September 20th I will sing karaoke with a live band on stage in front of hundreds of people to support of 88Nine Radio Milwaukee as part of their Annual Fall Ball. Yikes!

I cannot carry a tune and the mere thought of singing on stage makes me super nervous. Yet, I accepted this challenge for two reasons. First, I believe in pushing myself out of my comfort zone as a means to learn and grow and fill life with joy and meaning. Second, I believe in what 88Nine is doing for Milwaukee. As a nonprofit public radio station, Radio Milwaukee has been a catalyst in the transformation of our city by uniting people and building community through great music.
