Our Team Fundraising Page

The Alpha Xi chapter of the Kappa Alpha Order has been a proud contributor to the UC Berkeley community since 1895. As a part of our community involvement, we regularly take on philanthropic endeavors, such as our annual volleyball tournament for the Live for Others Foundation. This semester, we wanted to give back to the individuals who we look up to the most: veterans. These brave men and women of our military exemplify courage, leadership, selflessness, and above all, patriotism to the highest degree. As a chapter, we have pledged ourselves to providing a Track Chair to a wounded veteran. The Track Chair is a highly-functioning wheelchair that will allow a disabled veteran to participate in activities such as hiking, hunting, golfing, etc. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for the Track Chair and make a meaningful impact on a veteran’s life, as they have done for us through their service. With the hard work from each of our brothers, we hope to create a strong network of donors to achieve this goal. Our chapter believes very strongly in this cause and will give it our all to give back to such deserving individuals.
