The men of the Kappa Alpha Order – Alpha Chapter proudly contribute to Washington & Lee and the Lexington community in a variety of ways.  A few of the ways we do this include representing W&L on 6 athletic teams, coaching youth sports, and having members in the Williams Investment Society, Real Estate Society, and Mock Convention.  While we enjoy helping our community, we realize our contributions and sacrifice pale to those made by our veterans.  Realizing this, our chapter has decided to give back to those who give so much to others.  We have decided to team up with the Independence Fund to provide a Trackchair to a deserving Veteran.  The Trackchair will allow our Veteran to return to an active lifestyle and improve his or her quality of life.  In addition to everyday use, the Trackchair will allow our Veteran to get outdoors and participate in activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and even golf with their friends and family.  We hope to raise $20,000 for the Trackchair, which we believe is a small price to pay to greatly improve the life one of our Veterans.  Our chapter wants to support our country’s Veterans and providing a Veteran with a Trackchair through The Independence Fund is a great way to do so!  We hope you will join us in our effort to directly improve the life of a Veteran and their family.
