Iris's Story

1.png

When Iris was picked up as a stray in late August, she was in such rough shape that she was unwilling—or unable—to move. She was in significant pain, and both of her eyes showed signs of severe, chronic issues that had gone untreated for far too long.

To give her the quality of life she deserved, Iris underwent surgery to remove both eyes. While she may not be able to see the world around her, she hasn’t let that stop her from enjoying it!

Today, Iris is thriving in a foster home as she continues to heal, and her foster mom says she’s been a wonderful houseguest. She’s potty trained, loves belly rubs and bones, gets the zoomies outside, and does an amazing job following familiar voices and even the snap of your fingers. She’s been excellent with the resident cats and, after some slow introductions, has even befriended her foster dog siblings.

Iris is just one example of the thousands of animals whose care you support when you place your bids.
