The Annual Kern County Veterans Stand Down will take place Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Stramler Park. This event is dedicated to serving and honoring our local veterans and their families, bringing together over 100 service providers offering health screenings, housing assistance, employment support, and more.
Last year, more than 500 veterans and their dependents received services, with nearly 2,000 people visiting the park throughout the day.
