My journey with Keshet started in 2016. I remember it like it was yesterday. I walked up to the field for the first day of buddy baseball. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. My fear was instantly wiped away when I turned around to see a cute six year old with a huge smile. Little did I know that a smiling six year old would be Wesley, the best person to come into my life. 

Jumping forward a bit, Wes and I have now had 5 amazing seasons of Buddy Baseball, 4 of Buddy Bowling and Basketball, 2 Special Olympics, and now 1 amazing summer at Z Frank Apachi Camp. 

It is so heartwarming to see Wes at camp being included in sports like baseball and seeing that same smile when he scores a homerun. 

A highlight of my day is seeing the other campers helping Wes participate just as they do. From helping him hold a baseball bat, to making sure he gets to build onto the group science projects, and always saving an extra seat they really know how to be a good friend.

None of this would be possible without the amazing support from Keshet and everyone involved with Keshet.

I am so grateful for the relationship and opportunities Keshet gave me and hope to see many more to come with the help of you!
