Hey everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page for Sun Dragon's Kickathon 2018, the best little Karate dojo in the U.S of A. Sun Dragon is a small non-profit center that has been offering training in Seido Karate, self-defense, mediation, and much more since 1989. Teaching kids and adults, men and women, Sun Dragon helped me as well as countless Austinites find empowerment, be a part of a thriving community, and c’mon, who doesn’t think it would be cool to know Karate? With school, music, and all the other pressures of life to think about, a fun activity to focus myself and one as engaging as martial arts has meant that I always have a place to clear my head and channel my worries into something positive. From my first class, everyone I’ve met at the dojo has been spirited and welcoming just as if I’d signed up the day it opened. Without a doubt, Sun Dragon is necessary to the framework of local businesses that makes Austin unique and a very important part of the lives of many important people.
     As a non-profit, Sun Dragon relies on the support of its students and other donations to keep operating, which is why November 3rd will be Kickathon 2018, the dojo’s annual fundraiser where I will do 1000 KICKS. On an unrelated note, I will be posting a link to the memorial page for my legs (1999 - 2018) that will be annihilated doing what they love. I am hyped, and will be doing many Richard Simmons leg lifts in preparation, so if you would like to support the coolest fundraising event in history, DONATE!
