I've been training at Sun Dragon for some time now, and I know that my martial arts school makes a significant difference when helping the people of Austin. Each student finds our school for a variety of different reasons, but we all train together to better ourselves and to give back to our community. 

Help me and my karate school reach our fundraising goal for 2020! All of the funds raised go towards funding violence prevention outreach in our community, as well as scholarships. That way, anyone can train regardless of their ability to pay. 

This year has been tough for membership-driven business, especially nonprofits. Organizations like Sun Dragon rely on an ongoing stream of new members in order to keep our business running. Given the pandemic and its uncertain future, we've come up against unique challenges that we've had to face in regards to new members and ways to continue our training. While our community is going strong and embracing these new learning opportunities, we need all the help we can get to continue serving our Austin community with violence prevention education, scholarship access, and local justice advocacy.
