Nearly 2 years ago, we lost our beloved, Jeff, after a long battle with kidney cancer. Jeff was strong, loving, funny, smart, and devoted to his beautiful family, friends, and his most special dog, Loki. During Jeff's brave fight with kidney cancer, he and the Sterne family became active with KidneyCAN. KidneyCAN's mission is to accelerate cures for kidney cancer by advocating for government and industry research and funding. Jeff was passionate about enhancing the quality of life for all individuals facing health difficulties, not only those battling cancer. Throughout his illness, he was a strong advocate for kidney cancer research, meeting with members of Congress to lobby for additional federal funding and to increase awareness of kidney cancer. Here are the details of the 5K walk: Date: Saturday, July 12th, 10:30am-12:30pm Location: Devonshire Park 4422 Greenwood St. Skokie, IL Please meet at the gazebo at the park.
