Celebrate with Pinky Swear

Start your own fundraiser

Thank you, Minneapolis!

Thank you to the 400 kids registrants, 150 volunteers, All-Stars, sponsors and spectators for participating in the Hy-Vee Pinky Swear Kids Triathlon on Saturday at Lake Nokomis! You helped us raise $90,000+ for kids with cancer and their families!

This was our most successful Kids Triathlon and we couldn't have done it without you! In fact, you can continue to fundraise through December 31 to help us reach and help even more kids with cancer and their families! Again, we can't do all that we do without your support - THANK YOU!

Swim. Bike. Run. to help kids with cancer

The 13th Annual Pinky Swear Kids Triathlon is a non-timed and non-competitive race for kids ages 6-18 of all abilities on August 4, 2018, at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis, Minnesota

We look forward to seeing you there!

The Pinky Swear Story

In December of 2002, nine-year-old Mitch Chepokas, terminally ill with bone cancer, withdrew the entire $6,000 from his savings account and put it in envelopes for kids on the pediatric oncology floor at the hospital.

After giving all of his money away, Mitch’s dad made a pinky swear promise with him to always help children with cancer and their families after he was gone.

Mitch passed away on April 11, 2003, and shortly afterwards, Pinky Swear Foundation was established by his parents to honor the promise he made.
