I donated my extra kidney to help two amazing grandpas, John and Jim, live to watch their grandchildren grow! Now it is my mission to inspire others to give because there are so many to be helped with spare kidneys. Anything you do to help me will help others, as well!

God gave us two...most of us only need one. If I could give another kidney, I would in a heartbeat! While I can't donate another kidney, I can climb a big mountain - literally - to help spread the word about donation.

Over 90,000 people are waiting for a kidney transplant. Everyday 11 people die waiting. Donation provides hope; living donation is safe, powerful and life-changing - for both the recipient and the donor.

That's why I have joined a group of 15 Kidney Donor Athletes to climb Mount Kilimanjaro March 4-14, 2026. We will be summiting at 19,341 feet on World Kidney Day! We are climbing to show the world that living donors are strong, thriving and can do anything anyone else can do - even with just one kidney.

After Kilimanjaro, I'll be continuing on to walk 485 miles across the Pyrenees on the Camino de Santiago - stronger than I've ever been, fueled by purpose. In June, I will be competing in the Transplant Games of America 2028 to continue to help raise awareness of the need for transplants.
