I’m participating in this year’s Los Angeles Marathon - LA Big 5K this March, to raise money for Kitten Rescue. This organization and their event are really important to me, and I’m working hard to support them. Would you be willing to donate and help me reach my fundraising goal?

Every year we pull numerous cats and kittens from city shelters that are overburdened by unwanted pets. Between Kitten Rescue's nursery, sanctuary, adoption center, and foster network, we care for 1,200 animals at any given time. In 2018, 1,000 animals found loving homes. 

Once an animal is with our rescue, KR will provide medical care for life. For the kitties that get adopted, if they ever need to return to Kitten Rescue, they will always find safety with us and we will take them back. 

Most importantly, KR gives a second chance to neonate kittens, cats and kittens with FeLV (feline leukemia), senior cats, chronic medical issues, as well as lifesaving treatment for serious injury and illness. 

One such case is Grover. He was found badly injured by animal control and taken to a city shelter. 

 With two broken ribs, a shattered tibia, broken fibula, and a busted kneecap, he did not have much of a chance. Kitten Rescue took in Grover and he received his life-saving surgery in early February. Now he is recovering until he is ready to find his forever home. We could not do this important work without the support from people like you.
