It is the annual KWMR Pledge Drive where we all come together to raise $100,000 for our Community Radio Station. 

Help me/us reach our personal fundraising goal before midnight May 2nd on KWMR Day!

Monday Mix is truly a mix of tunes and volunteer DJs. You can hear the bluegrass and folk tinged tunes from veteran KWMR programmer Will Minor. Amanda Eichstaedt usually finds a theme and runs with it, crossing genres and mining the vast collection of great songs that exist in the world. Patrick Kleean has recycled his "Kitchen Sink" theme and plays new releases as well as old favorites mostly in the Americana and rock genres. Buck and Dusty keep it real while spinning tunes from the blues to folk and in between. You might even get some astrological tips from them. And when there is a fifth, the sky is the limit - you might hear any of these shows.

Rumored to be the keeper of all that is Professor Kozmo, there are those who say that he has moved on thereby becoming Gandalf to an acolyte. Sightings are rare but when reported there is also a note regarding the sweet musky aroma of Cuban cigars. Nonetheless he has, in accordance with the murky laws of radio, insured a gatekeeper to make sure someone (or something) is spinning those tunes late and deep into the night when the lights are out. Here's to those mysterious shadows lurking in the dimly lit corners playing whatever they jolly well decide....
