My family and I experienced blindness first hand with my grandfather. It was a pretty traumatic transition for him and I believe if it wasn't for The Lighthouse of Central Florida who guided him and educated him on blindness he would have never overcame it. The Lighthouse of Central Florida is a non-profit organization who dedicates all their time to helping people who are blind, like my grandfather. Soon my grandfather became a blind teacher teaching other blind students and also a blind author. In remembrance of him and because we are all so thankful that The Lighthouse of Central Florida helped him we truly support such a great cause.
