Join us at beautiful Wrightsville Beach for the first annual Lung Cancer Initiative White Ribbon Regatta! On-water enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to come together for a fun-filled morning of competition and camaraderie all while benefiting lung cancer research and education through Lung Cancer Initiative (LCI).
The Regatta is open to one-design dinghy and cruising class (24'+) boats. Each registrant will commit to raising a certain dollar amount towards their team's fundraising goal.
- High school and collegiate-level racers commit to raising $75
- Non-school aged racers commit to raising $250
Awards will not only be given to the fastest boats in each class, but also to the top fundraising team in each category above. Claim both the fastest and the most funded team for ultimate bragging rights!
Not a Sailor? Not a problem! Sail from the comfort of your home by entering your "boat" into our virtual regatta. Pick a fun boat name (a.k.a. your team name), recruit crew and start fundraising! The more dollars raised, the more wind in your sails. The winner of the virtual regatta will be declared at the Community Social on May 30 at Wrightsville Beach Brewery.
