I'm so happy to be a part of this building project and so so grateful that you all get to be a part of it, too! I've been to the future location of the school and it's a beautiful, serene and even magical place. I'm looking forward to seeing hundreds of happy children enjoying a school experience that will change their lives and that of their communities!
This Waldorf-based, Earthship biostructure school will serve 300 children, living below the poverty level. Kids aged 4-7 will enjoy a full day of school and lunch during their time there.
The Ivory Coast has experienced a recent civil war and many communities are still in the process of rebuilding and healing. I believe that this school, 'L'Ecole des Enfants' will be an integral part of this region's healing process
