My name is Keenan Walker, and I’m a 27-year-old autistic person living in Stark County, Ohio. I recently became a Youth Peer Supporter in Ohio. As someone with autism, I’ve learned a lot over the past 27 years, especially about the struggles I faced in receiving the services I needed to live a successful and productive life. And here’s what I’ve come to realize:
We, as individuals with autism, deserve to be heard, seen, included, and loved just as much as anyone else!
