I had been blessed already with six amazing children. My heart (and house) was full. I was looking forward to turning 40 with a bang. Little did I know it would be "BANG!! Congratulations...you're not only pregnant you're carrying identical twin girls". I was ecstatic even through the initial shock. Unfortunately my joy would turn to devastation. During my routine 22 week exam/scan I heard the words no parent ever wants to hear and never imagines they will hear. "I am so sorry. There are no heartbeats. Your babies are gone." On August 20, 2007 I gave birth to two absolutely perfect and beautiful baby girls. Silently. Chloe Danielle and Zoe Grace were perfect in every way except one.....they were no longer alive. The devastation I felt in those moments is why I have pledged to work tirelessly to raise awareness about stillbirth and why the Star Legacy Foundation is so important to me. Please help me carry on Chloe and Zoe's work to try and prevent another family from experiencing the devastation of stillbirth.
