In 2017, Dane and I were thrilled to be Parents-To-Be to our first child, Coulter Dean. He was healthy, strong and perfect. Due just before Christmas, he was everything we had been hoping and praying for.

On November 2, I left work early to go to the hospital. Something was wrong. I hadn't noticed any movements in hours. Though frightened, I was confident that everything would be ok. It had to be ok. We were so close to his due date.. and there had been ZERO signs of distress until now.

Hours later, my boy, Coulter was born on November 3, 2017. I will never forget the feeling of holding his tiny lifeless body in my arms.
