In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, Lutheran Family and Children's Services is facing a significant loss of funding which will impact our ability to provide critical services to kids in need across Missouri.  LFCS create safety and stability for children, youth and families through programs including Parenting, Crisis Pregnancy Counseling, Professional Mental Health Counseling, and the Hilltop Child and Family Development Center. 

The loss of funding to support these programs creates enhanced risk factors for thousands of children and parents, including increased instances of abuse and neglect, unstable living environments and involvement in the criminal justice system, and increased clinical depression and suicide rates.
