My sister recently told me about a quote she heard, "I don't run 26.2 miles, I run 1 mile, 26 times." Life is a journey, you choose the perspective you want to live it by. I shall choose to make a positive difference in people's lives as I pass through this journey. I know that I can't do that alone, I need YOU. 

The statistic are real, for many reasons every 26 secs. one student doesn't see high school graduation as an attainable goal. They drop out. City Year is taking on the mission to place a young, excited and determined young adult to support our students across the nation. In Los Angeles this year we are serving 2000+ students. This work can't  be done alone.
