Join us on Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day), from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Coldstream Park for Lexington Humane Society’s annual "Mutt Strut" Walk-a-Thon, proudly presented by Hunter Faulconer, and sponsored by MetLife Pet Insurance, Nancy Barron & Associates, Inc. Investments, The Campbell Family Senior & Hospice Pet Care Program of LHS, Hicks & Funfsinn, T-Fiber, The Dog Stop, and Traditional Bank.
This year’s Mutt Strut is more than just a walk—it’s a walk-a-thon fundraiser where individuals and teams come together to raise critical funds for animals in need. Participants are encouraged to set team/individual fundraising goals, rally support, and make a meaningful impact. The top three fundraising teams or individuals will win exciting prizes for their entire team!
*** TOP THREE FUNDRAISING TEAMS AS OF 5:00 PM ON SUNDAY, MAY 24TH WILL WIN THE FOLLOWING TEAM PRIZES:
*1ST PLACE*
• Four reserved VIP parking spots at Mutt Strut, located right next to the event entrance
• Exclusive VIP lounge area for your team - complete with a tent, table, chairs, table games, and cooler of water and gatorade
• One LHS “Relax with Rover” visit with puppies (or kittens!) to your workplace or social gathering
• Each team member may choose a photo of their pet to represent a specific month (larger picture at the top) in LHS’s upcoming 2027 Wall Calendar
• A private Ice Cream Social for up to 25 guests in Crank & Boom’s “Vault Room” at their Manchester Street location
*2ND PLACE*
• Four passes for admission to Kentucky Kingdom valid during the 2026 season
• Each team member may select a specific day for their pet's photo to appear in LHS’s 2027 Wall Calendar
• Four admission passes to LHS’s upcoming Doggie Paddle event on September 12, 2026
• A new trunk organizer filled with car essentials, dog toys, and dog treats

• One dozen delicious cupcakes from BabyCakes Cupcakes
• Each team member gets a free pet photo submission for inclusion in LHS’s 2027 Wall Calendar
• A six-pack of delicious cookies for your dog from Hound & Horse Bakery
This 1.5-mile walk-a-thon is all about having fun, getting active, and making a difference. Every dollar raised helps provide shelter, medical care, and adoption services to more than 4,000 animals each year—when they need it most.

Enjoy an untimed, one and a half-mile walk perfect for individuals, families, teams, and their dogs—all while raising funds to support lifesaving programs.
Fundraising Competition
Form a team or participate individually and compete to make the biggest impact! (Fundraising is not required to participate, but is encouraged!) Top 3 Fundraisers/Teams win cool prizes!
