HOLA dear Friends and Family,

We’re BACK!  Yes!!  We the Saints of Lutheran High School (LHSI)  are WALKING again on October 31 to take time out to support our school’s efforts to update our athletic facilites. 

Late this past summer, after dropping off my son Andrew for his soccer conditioning, it was humbling and VERY EXCITING  to go out and …well not just touch the new turf on our soccer field, but to take a quick walk on it, jump on it and then throw up my hands and praise the Lord!  The new track also looks so AMAZING!  I know our Saints track athletes can’t wait for the season to start.

The new turf field has been such a blessing to LHSI already as our soccer players & football players have well tested it.  Play is much smoother and safer without the ruts and hard clay that simply could no longer be repaired.  We are SO THANKFUL!  

So although we are blessed with the turf and new track that YOU no doubt helped support with last year's walk-a-thon, we have a ways to go to finish financing it.  Volunteer help has been donated again and again.  Our contractors have been so generous to stretch the dollars already given, but we have not hit our goal yet to complete the financing of the the whole facility.
