Lutheran High school is posting a walk-a-thon to raise money for the new track and field. When I was a freshman I played on the awful mud field. Rainy days were the worst cause it was just a giant puddle in the middle. The track was so bad that we couldn't host anymore home track meets either. and if we didn't get the new field than we probably wouldn't of been able to host any fall sporting events. But now we got the field but the debt is not paid. we still need to raise some money to reach our goal. This is only the first step of many, and this step was probably our biggest one. But the benefits about the new field is that it doesn't hurt as bad when you get talked, we will be able to host sporting events again, and we can save more money this year than if we didn't get the field done.
