About Lift Up My Little (LUML)

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston our mission is "to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth." One of the ways in which we do so is our annual “Lift Up My Little” peer-to-peer fundraising campaign sponsored by Bristow Group, running May 1st-June 30th. This online fundraiser encourages Bigs and supporters to raise funds that support the organization’s mission and offer life-changing opportunities for Littles. The funds raised will provide opportunities for exposure to pursuits that they may not have had access to otherwise, such as scholarships for college, music camp, sports camps, and other developmental activities. As in year’s past, the top 6 winners of the “Lift Up My Little” campaign will also win a helicopter ride with their Little, as well as a chance at other exciting prizes thanks to the Houston Astros, Rockets, and Dynamo!

Opportunity Fund

Funds raised WILL have a direct impact on our Littles, helping to support their opportunity fund. The tier breakdown below is dependent on fundraising efforts. Opportunity funds can be used for developmental activities for Littles, such as camps, sports, tuition, etc. 

1st place- $5,000 for Little's fund

2nd place- $3,500 for Little's fund

3rd place- $2,500 for Little's fund

4th place- $1,500 for Little's fund

5th place- $1,000 for Little's fund

6th place- $1,000 for Little's fund
