One year ago, the light went out for my sweet child. Brittany was the light of my life and my best friend. That day, I felt like I had died, too. She was so amazingly smart, kind, generous, and fun. She loved animals, especially her cat Lilith. For most of her life, she suffered terribly from mental illness, and in the end, she found peace from these demons. I miss her terribly and take solace in knowing that I will see her again when I get to Heaven.
