Binghamton Chabad is doing a fundraiser for Chai Lifeline, an organization dedicated to helping Jewish children suffering from cancer. This is an organization very near to my heart since one of my friends from school actually has cancer and benefits from Chai Lifeline’s services. I’ve heard about all the wonderful things Chai Lifeline does from him and am proud that Binghamton is doing a fundraiser for such a meaningful cause. We are currently trying to raise money to buy these children toys for Chanukah, and we will be working with Chai Lifeline to deliver them. We are close to reaching our goal of $23,000, and every dollar counts since with many small donations combined, toys can still be purchased to make a child happy.
