A little bit about me...and why I'm fundraising for lung cancer!
I'm guessing if you're here, most of you know who I am and why I'm raising money for lung cancer. I'm Emily and I was diagnosed with lung cancer 6.5 years ago when I was 32 weeks pregnant with my son Brady. I've been incredibly fortunate to have a word class medical and research team right here in Colorado. Because of the research and expert care I receive from my team of doctors I am not only here today, but am living a full life and thriving living a "normal" life and being a mom of my 2 kids!
I'm raising money for Links for Lungs Denver!
If you know me, you know one of my favorite things to do is walk! Walking became especially important to me during my recovery from my first spinal surgery and into Covid. I couldn't exercise in the way I was used to so I started walking. As my recovery winded down and Covid ramped up it was a way I could be active and connect with friends. Here I am 4 years later still walking and connecting with my closest friends doing something I love!
