Hi dear Friends and Family

Day by day we are learning many things in different fields. The most important are those that make us feel happy when we see the joy of a person by helping them with something they need. When we open our hands to give something, they remain open to receive something as well. Let’s not miss the opportunity to help each other because if we do, we are helping that person and their family. Let’s not continue with the habit of living only for ourselves. Instead, let's make the world a better place by doing something good to reap amazing things.

Let’s sow the seed of education to reap a better quality of life especially for those most in need and vulnerable. Let us remember that we are an example for the future generations in all aspects of life, values, generosity, kindness and education. 

I could tell you my whole story, but I think the most important thing is to let you know that LITERACY NJ changed my life as well as my family.  I started as a student and at the same time I was a volunteer in the office answering calls, taking care of students like me at that time. Over time, I learned many things and now I work full time at the Union office as a Literacy Specialist. I love my job.
