This year, Literacy New Jersey-Union served more than 250 ESL students, who together accumulated over 10,000 attendance hours. We are incredibly proud of our students and deeply grateful for our 60+ dedicated tutors who teach weekly, both in person and online.

Our students have reported gaining confidence in their English-speaking skills, securing jobs to better support their families, and achieving U.S. citizenship. These accomplishments are life-changing successes that strengthen our entire community.

We hope to continue this important work by reaching more students and training more tutors to meet the growing need in our community.

Our 3-Day Crowdfunding Campaign will directly support programs that:

• Help adult learners gain the skills and confidence to achieve their goals through our ESL, Basic Literacy, and Citizenship programs

• Provide laptops and digital learning opportunities for students

• Ensure our tutors receive high-quality training to effectively support every learner
