Earlier this month we had our GED graduation ceremony. 34 students received their high school diplomas. Having a record number of graduates during a year where our students faced so many challenges shows that when we come together and focus on what's important, nothing can stop us.
We are lucky to have an amazing team of pre-GED and GED tutors. Remote tutors met their students in person for the first time at graduation. 22 tutors actively participated in these 34 success stories. We had students starting their GED journey with us as far as 2018.
Ana received her GED this month and said in a speech to her classmates, “This is a new beginning for us. It will open the door to better opportunity and personal growth, and I see a bright future for you and for me. Most importantly, it proves that it is never too late to believe in yourself again!”.
We need your help to continue supporting our students and tutors. Help us meet our goal – in three short days – and continue empowering our adult learners.
