Sophomore pitcher England Bryan leads with compassion on and off the field. He volunteers at the Nashville Rescue Mission serving breakfast to those experiencing homelessness and co-created a fundraiser with his brother that raised $575 and provided 1,610 servings of venison for food-insecure Tennesseans. Known for his maturity, resilience, and daily work ethic, England’s leadership, initiative, and commitment to uplifting others make a meaningful impact across his community and team.

Ryan Cooney - Oregon

Ryan Cooney, a junior shortstop and three-year captain, leads Oregon Baseball with selflessness and consistency. Active in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Leadership Council, he volunteers with the Oregon Food Bank and Touchmark memory care facility. A starter since freshman year, Ryan set the single-season home run record, hit .335 during Oregon’s Big Ten Championship season, and led the team in stolen bases.

Tim Grack - UC, Irvine

Tim Grack, a sophomore pitcher, leads through service and resilience. A key SAAC member, he helped drive record student engagement in a campus athletics initiative and plays a central role in youth baseball camps, both on campus and in his hometown, where he’s a favorite mentor to kids. After Tommy John surgery sidelined him following his freshman season, Tim has battled back with determination. His perseverance, leadership, and heart embody the spirit of the team.

Tony Pluta - Arizona

Tony Pluta, a senior pitcher and aeronautical engineering major, exemplifies grit and leadership. A former walk-on, he became a key contributor and helped lead Arizona to Omaha while balancing a demanding academic schedule. Undersized but relentless, Tony gives back through food bank service and reading to elementary students. On the mound, he was named National Closer of the Year, posting a 1.46 ERA over 30 appearances.
