We participate for so many babies gone too soon - a few we knew before our Henry, and so many more that we have met through their families since. We appreciate all the love and support from so many friends, family, colleagues and community who cared for and loved us, and know our precious Henry through our involement with causes that are near and dear because of him.

We made it through the first trimester, when miscarriage rates are statistically higher. We made it through the 20 week ultrasound when we learned that "Baby A" and "Baby B" were "Baby Boy A" and "Baby Boy B." Our twins were growing right on track, and we were all doing well. All of the higher risks associated with a multiples pregnancy didn't touch us. We felt them move. We watched the hiccups from both sides of my belly. We entered the third trimester with no concerns, save a breech and transverse positioning. We were monitored. We saw the boys on the screen every two weeks, and we were beginning every week ultrasounds. They were getting big enough to come at any time. Then at 36 weeks, Henry's heart stopped.
We don't know why. It's a hard pill to swallow, and one we struggle with still.
Supporting Star Legacy Foundation by participating in Lydie's Loop means supporting research, education and families experiencing stillbirth and prenatal death. We pray that other families do not experience the heartache we did, but we know better. We are fundraising to support them and work towards fewer tragic endings/beginnings.

We have raised money for a Cuddle Cot to be placed soon at Grady Memorial in Delaware, OH. Team Henry's Hearts participated in the first Rememberance Walk in Ohio to raise money for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep earlier this year.
