It is that time of year that we walk with our friends and family to honor and remember our little girl, Evelyn.  Evelyn would be walking into school this year as a kindergartener.  She would be holding the hands of her big sister, Akira and her big brother, Connor.  I can only picture this in my mind and it brings me to tears.  She should be here with us and them on their first day of school.  

This year, friends and family planted a tree at the school to honor and remember Evelyn.  Our friends and family provided such an amazing gift to our family.  It is something we will look forward to every year.  We will see the tree grow in-place of our daughter, but it will be a symbol of her spreading her roots.  

Please help our family continue to honor and remember Evelyn and all the other little girls and boys that are no longer with their families.  We would love for you to walk with our family, but understand if you cannot.
