I’m thrilled to be participating in Long Trail Day Hike-a-Thon, a fundraiser supporting Green Mountain Club! I have served on the GMC board of directors since 2021, but my history with the club goes back to 2008 when I started exploring Vermont's mountains in college. In 2010 I backpacked the Long Trail end-to-end and was able to enjoy the fruits of GMC's first 100 years. More recently as a member of the board, I've seen firsthand the tireless effort the amazing staff and volunteers put into maintaining and improving the Long Trail, permanently protecting the trail system, and educating the hiking public.
I’m passionate about supporting GMC and I need your help! Here's what you can do:
