"We named her Victoria. I gave birth to her on Monday, March 20, 2017, at Cedars Sinai. For 11 hours, I was in labor, induced with medication and disbelief. I could not grasp the intensity and reality of what was going on. Then, she came out, still and motionless. Robert first held her in his arms, happy and sad at the sight of her. His tears of joy and pain for meeting our daughter for the first time hurt me. The nurses then took her and placed her on my chest over my heart. I felt the warmth of her body and held her close. I was absolutely overjoyed and thrilled. I then laid her on my lap to get a better look at her. I was filled with so much love, a love I never knew before.
