On October 31, 2017, our world came crashing down when we learned our beautiful baby boy Luke Benjamin Jones did not survive delivery.  Luke was born on his due date and was perfect in every way.  I had a normal and healthy pregnancy and we had no idea something was wrong until it was too late.  We still don't know with 100% certainty what took our precious little boy from us, but it appears it was most likely a bacterial infection caused by the Group B Strep bacteria.  The past two years have been filled with heartbreak and struggles to find our way forward with a huge piece of our hearts missing.  As we approach what should be Luke's second birthday, we want to do whatever we can to help prevent other families from feeling the life-shattering pain of perinatal loss. I am so happy I found the Star Legacy Foundation as that is what they are striving to do.  Their online support groups were also so helpful to me in the initial months after losing Luke.  Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and to consider donating to this wonderful organization.
