On October 24, 2015, our perfect baby, Adrian Jaime Toscano was born without a breath; he was stillborn. Instantly going from first-time parents to bereaved parents shifted our entire way of being and how we came to terms with losing the baby we so longed to have.
Since his death, we have never stopped grieving and missing Adrian. But we also have never stopped talking about our firstborn and working not only to preserve his memory but also help to bring awareness to a death (like so many others) that could've been prevented.
This is why we are joining the Star Legacy Foundation's LET'S NOT BE STILL event to raise funds to help save lives in providing resources, awareness and research against stillbirth.
Our sweet Adrian would've been four years old this month, so our team's fundraising goal is to reach $400: that's $100 for each year we've missed Adrian.
