Life with hemophilia is definitely a journey, but if there's one thing my son has proven over the years, it's that a bleeding disorder can’t hold him down!

From endless needle sticks and infusion setups to mysterious bruises that show up out of nowhere and the frustration of painful joint bleeds, he’s faced some truly tough days. Getting factor into those tiny veins hasn't always been easy (let’s be honest, we’ve had our fair share of moments where we all wanted to pull our hair out!), but watching him tackle every single poke and bump with total courage makes me prouder than words can say.

That courage is why our family loves showing up every year for the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk!

This walk is so special to us, especially because it helps fund Camp Ailihpomeh—a place where kids with bleeding disorders can just be kids. Camp gives them a safe space to swim, play, make lifelong friends who truly understand what they're going through, and even learn how to self-infuse in an environment full of support and fun. It is truly life-changing!
