BBBSLV matches and stewards mentoring relationships which provide guidance and positive role modeling for 400 children annually.

Big Tony and Little Santos

Little Santos and his Big Tony have been matched since September 2013—twelve years and still going strong. Now 21 and turning 22 this November, Santos works as a Special Education Paraeducator at Spring Garden Elementary and spent the summer as a Promotion Assistant with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

Santos describes Tony as both a brother and a father figure, someone who has filled a deep void in his life since the loss of his father. Their match remains open today, showing how support from Bowl for Kids’ Sake makes long-lasting, life-changing relationships possible helping young people like Santos confidently navigate the transition into adulthood.
