Our son Charlie was stillborn on June 19th, 2016 (which also happened to be Father's Day). His life and his death affected us strongly, in many ways, and we sincerely hope that through the efforts of the Star Legacy Foundation and other groups raising money for research, many stillbirths that could have been prevented will instead BE prevented. No one should have to go through this grief for a death that could have been preventable.

But why Tiger Cub? When Charlie was still in utero, he was a bouncy, jouncy little guy! He was our little "tigger". When we were working on designing his headstone, we found the tiger image that you see on this page - and it was just perfect. From then on, our little "tigger" was our little tiger cub.
