Our story began the day those 2 pink lines appeared. My whole pregnancy I was told we were right on track. We went in for a routine ultrasound, and were told the hardest thing we'd ever image. "I'm sorry their is no heartbeat." I remember that day 08/15/2018. I sat their and cried and prayed it was all a misunderstanding. It wasn't. I was taken to riverside to deliver my perfect baby girl at 31.5 weeks. Aaliyah was perfect in every sense but had a knot in her umbilical cord. We participate in Lydies loop to help other parents in my same position and to bring awareness of pregnancy loss. Forever in our hearts Aaliyah Jade ??
