ATTENTION: Baby names due by September 3rd!

You must register by 9/3 to include a baby name on the event t-shirts.

After 9/3, late registration begins and prices increase.  Unfortunately, we can also no longer guarantee t-shirt sizes.

Join us to honor all babies gone too soon and take the steps they'll never take. Named after Lydia Welliver, who was suddenly stillborn in 2014 at 34 weeks gestation. The Wellivers are not alone; more than 21,000 babies are stillborn each year in the United States. Many pregnancies, like Lydie's, were otherwise healthy. Prevention methods and education are desperately needed.

On Saturday, September 21st in Columbus or on Sunday, September 22nd in Akron, please join us to celebrate the lives of babies gone too soon. You can also participate virtually from anywhere, or just support by making a donation!

Follow us on Facebook for all event updates including a live reading of baby names on 9/21 at 9:30 am.

You can register as an individual, create a team (many teams are in honor of a baby), or join a team. We also need event volunteers!  See FAQ for more details.

Back this year! Teams that fundraise $500 or more will design a sign featured on the race route to honor a baby.

The schedule in Columbus on September 21st is:

8:15 Check in, Raffle and Silent Auction, Balloon Twisting by Erica Carlson Children's Entertainment, Remembrance Table, Photo booth

9:30 Welcome including reading of baby names.  This will also be on Facebook Live.

9:45 Kids' Dash

10:00 5k Run or 1 mile Walk

10:45 Raffle and silent auction winners announced

Or join us on 9/22 at our satellite event at the Bath Community Center in Akron, Ohio. Beginning at 11 am, we'll have a welcome, raffle, kids' dash and walk to honor all babies gone too soon.  Click here for more details.

All proceeds benefit Count the Kicks, an organization that educates expectant parents about the importance of tracking baby movements to prevent stillbirth.  Research shows that a change in movement is sometimes the only indication that a baby is in distress.  Learn more here.
