Since the day that James was born our family and friends have been an amazing support system that has given us the strength and courage to understand that James' Down syndrome diagnosis is NOT a diagnosis, but a blessing. We have the honor of being a part of the Down syndrome community and want to continue to give back to the programs that have supported us. We are proud to be part of the Madison Area Down Syndrome Society's 17th Annual Down Syndrome Awareness Walk because it means so much to us and to our family.

People with Down syndrome are more ALIKE the rest of us than they are different. James has feelings, talents and dreams just like everyone. James has been accepted and appreciated for who his is and what he contributes to all our lives becuase of the wonderful support system that we have.
