Likely you know Mae or you have come to this page because you know one of her friends or family members.  Mae is a little gem. She is kind, clever, determined and sweet.  She is in total toddler mode these days and loves getting into mischief.  She is a super quick crawler and we are hoping she will show everyone her walking skills with her walker "Goldie" during the 21 Showcase at the walk this year. 

As we all know, people with Down syndrome are not always given the same opportunities to share their skills and talents in our society as those of without an extra chromie.  MADSS was created to help change that narrative and help support individuals and families with Down syndrome.  People with Down syndrome deserve to be accepted and appreciated for who they are and what they contribute to our lives and our communities.

We are proud to be part of the Madison Area Down Syndrome Society's 18th Annual Down Syndrome Awareness Walk because it means so much to us and to our family. MADSS has been a part of our lives since the day Mae was born and we could not be more thankful for the support, encouragement, and advocacy work that this organization has done for our local Down syndrome community.
