HANDSPUN IS FUNDRAISING FOR THE MONARCH BUTTERFLY!
It's Monarch Season! Every Fall, Western Monarch Butterflies leave the North and migrate South for warmth in the Fir Forests of Central Mexico. The Pismo Beach Monarch Grove (just up the hwy from our new SLO store!) is one of only a few sites in CA that have historically hosted thousands of butterflies, clustering in the limbs of the coastal Eucalyptus. As our "Monarch Count" is steadily dwindling, we are fundraising for the Xerces Society. Help us support the Xerces Society by donating today! Please join in and protect invertebrates today!
Butterflies, bees, dragonflies, beetles, spiders, freshwater mussels and other invertebrates sustain life as we know it. Yet many are declining due to habitat loss, pesticide use, climate change, and more. But there are steps that we can all take to help these vital animals and no action is too small. Please taking a stand for invertebrates today by making a donation to my fundraiser. Your support means the world to me, thank you!
